Anne Marit Waade

Background and research areas:

Anne Marit Waade is teaching media aesthetics, textual analysis and strategic communication. Her research interests are on mediated places, e.g. how location is used in TV series production, film tourism, place branding, landscapes and cartographic aesthetics in travel series and travel journalism, site specific aesthetics, paradise as a visual matrix in commercials and performative spatial authenticity. She has a MA in dramaturgy and interdisciplinary aesthetics and culture from Aarhus University 1995.
